If you often find yourself wanting to take a screenshot of your BlackBerry, but have only been able to when inside an app that allows that kind of thing, then you might want to download the Screen Muncher app for BlackBerry. The app is just a tiny bit confusing, but it works just like a camera that takes a screenshot of your BlackBerry phone. Then, you can send the screenshot to friends or save it for later.
What would you use it for?
If you found a map on your BlackBerry that you wanted to be able to access later, without having to go back through a specific app or go online to find it again, then you could “munch” the screen and save it to go back to it later. If you reached a high score in a game and wanted to brag to your friends, you could “munch” the screen and then spread it around to collect your bragging rights. Or, if you came across a really interesting piece of trivia and wanted to share, you could “munch” that too. Okay, you get the idea. Pretty much anything that you want to share or use later, you can “munch.”
Why’s it called munching?
On this one we’re not really sure. We think it may just be an attempt on the developer’s part to try and make the app sound cute. The “munching” aspect of it doesn’t really seem to have a whole lot to do with the app, but it does also make sound effects and vibrate when you munch or open a munch.
How does it work?
Simple. Any time you want to munch something, just press the BlackBerry icon. A menu will come up and you just have to choose the option to munch. After that, you can do whatever you want with it.
